Slight Rise in Crude Oil Prices

The price of crude oil rose $2.96 this week, currently priced at $46.40.
The price of global crude oil rose this week on the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) by $2.96 per barrel over last week, and is currently priced at $46.40.
Brent crude oil rose $1.07, and is currently priced at $47.98.
One year ago WTI crude sold for $44.43 and Brent crude was at $46.04.
As of Tuesday, the price of regular unleaded gasoline averaged $2.19 across Iowa according to AAA. This is the same price as one week ago and $.12 lower than one year ago The national average on Tuesday was $2.21, holding steady at last week's price.
Retail diesel fuel prices in Iowa were the same as last week with a statewide average of $2.36. One year ago diesel prices averaged $2.44 in Iowa. The current Iowa diesel average is the same as the national average of $2.36.
Wholesale ethanol prices were a penny lower than last week's price, closing at $1.50.
The current Des Moines Terminal/Rack Prices are $1.44 for U87-E10, $1.70 for Unleaded 87 (clear), ULSD#2 is at $1.54, ULSD#1 is at $1.71, and E-70 is priced at $1.65 per gallon.
Natural Gas prices fell $.05 at the Henry Hub reporting site and ended the week at $3.03/MMbtu.
