Branstad to Appear Before U.S. Senate Committee

U.S. Senator Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, will preside over a hearing on May 2 to consider the nomination of Iowa Governor Terry Branstad to be U.S. ambassador to China.
The nomination hearing will start at 10 a.m. ET in Senate Dirksen 419.
